Eoir 42b visa availability for FY 2019

Hello everyone!! Here’s a quick update on my husband’s 42B application. On April 30th, he had another appointment at the local immigration office, this time with his attorney. Before the appointment, the attorney went to court to ask what documents were needed for immigration, and they told him the only requirement was the judge’s letter. He also spoke with the local office supervisor the day before to make sure everything was in order.

When they arrived, things got a bit complicated, but the attorney asked to speak with the same supervisor he had talked to the day before. That helped resolve everything. They stamped my husband’s passport, and I checked his online account yesterday and today—here’s what it shows.

We need to go in person with original SSN card, Green card, License/ID. They give the form to filling out and submit. It’s simple process.

Exactly!

He also said my case was in Vermont, but case number shows as “received at another office” and the previous officer confirmed the case was at my state NV. Everything is super confusing.

Thank you so much for all your kind words. Crazy how they operate. I got their call yesterday and I felt so down because the officer said I should patient and I was asking the wrong questions, backlog, etc. Then, all of the sudden, I new status on my case lol

Congratulations mine was quick I got it on my birthday the 7th and I was granted April 8 not even one month but I’m glad you should get your soon.
