Attorney for i730?

Hello everyone . It’s so cool to share some good news. My family’s case was approved today!!! . Applied April 2024 . I pray you all receive some good news too soon

Thanks a lot . Please do you have any idea how long the case will take to be transferred to NVC, and how long it’ll take for NVC to transfer it to the embassy abroad?
Less than 10 day to send to NVC and to transfer to the embassy I’m not sure

Today I checked USCIS processing times for I-730 and it's 11.5 months now on average.

It was 9.5 then 10.5 and now 11.5 months. Hopefully it does not get delayed even further.

Any recent approvals?

Applied April 2024 and got approved on February 2025 which was 10.5months at the time so just be patient your turn is coming

Hi guys. I got my I-730 (Asylee) approved 39 days ago, but the status has not changed to “Case was sent to Department of State”. I asked NVC, they didn’t get my cases. Should I be worried about this or is it normal?

Well I don’t think you should be scared yet as all cases are different ..Mine was approved weeks after yours and already sent to Dos 5days ago.. have you received your I-797 notice of action yet? And you should try contacting UScis because to me the delay isn’t normal

My congratulations!

Yes, I got I-797. It states that the case was forwarded to DOS. But it doesn't.

I found some posts about contacting USCIS, usually it's helpless, they ask to wait 90 or 120 days. In this case it doesn't work if there's a big delay, because it's possible either the case was lost or forgotten about or sent to the wrong place altogether, like NRC instead of NVC.

I hope these are all isolated cases. Has anyone had delays of 40 days or more until "Case was sent to Department of State" and then everything resolved itself?

Well let’s hope it hasn’t been sent to the wrong place and that you’ll get an update soon
