Processing time for green card based on asylum

Hi everyone.. in general How long is the waiting period to receive the green card usually after applying for a year of asylum approval? I mean, when does it usually come?

Hello Everyone, USCIS updated green card edition to "01/20/25" on i485 page. However on 'Green Card for Asylee' page on USCIS website it says the edition is 10/24/24. After I called them, they told me to use 01/20/25 edition. Just wanted to let you guys know. If you have an attorney you can ask him the right edition before applying.

Average is 15.5 months and mean is 10.2 months as of today according to USCIS.
I've seen some people waiting for a few months and some more than two years.

Everybody's case is different, so it's hard to predict how USCIS adjudicates these cases.

Congratulations, the good news is that despite all the rumors and fears , approvals are going on with little or no interviews scheduled again .

Hello everyone, I just want to ask if anyone has experienced a similar situation. I applied for a green card based on asylum on June 1, 2023, and my case was transferred to the Queens Field Office. I submitted my medical examination along with my application and pay stubs. However, today I received an update stating that they are requesting additional evidence. Since I already submitted my birth certificate, medical examination, and pay stubs, I’m wondering what additional evidence they might be asking for. I haven’t received the mail yet, but I’m curious if anyone has had a similar experience.
