N400 question with extensive stay outside US

Err how does my story change?
My parents came back to the US in 2010, round about this same time I found out I was a LPR myself.
They had came back as tourists to visit my sister but then my sister got them AOS to permanently resident again.
My sister is a US citizen.

Yup, this confirms what I’ve been saying all along. If your parents had to be sponsored back in 2010, which is when you found out you previously had a GC through your parents, you knew you’re equally deemed to have abandoned permanent residency, so not presenting your GC at the POE was your way around being re-admitted and resuming life as a LPR.

Just wondering though, prior to your last entry six months ago, did you ever use the GC to seek admission the previous times you visited since 2010?

What had happened to my parents is actually a bit more detailed. I didn't want to get into it, as a matter of fact, only my father had to reapply. I'd be willing to elaborate on it but i got the distinct impression from the other poster that they have already made up their mind that I have manufactured all of this and were just looking for affirmation of such.

And to your other question, nope, I hadn't because I didnt even know I had a GC and my last entry was not 6 months ago it was 6 years ago or so. I've been in the US ever since. I only just really started looking into all of this last year onwards because i was thinking of applying for citizenship.

The six months in my post was obviously a typo, it was meant to be six years. And I wasn’t interested in your parents’ immigration history. My question was how had you been entering prior to the last one six years ago, which you obviously didn’t respond to. Anyway, there’s no need since it’s not likely to make much of a difference.

Oh I had been entering just on my canadian passport and thank you! Your posts have definitely clarified the situation for me.

Where did I say you manufactured anything? I noted the story kept changing, which it did, as more and more information - relevant information- slowly trickled out.
