Adjustment of status after visiting for an event

.I am here on a visiting visa to attend a conference and was given a one month entry.After the conference though married with a kid back home i decided to stay back because i met a USC whom we fell in love and started dating and considering the fact that though still legally married but seperated because of some reason bothering on unfaithfulness by my spouse.After about three months of my overstay i got news that my estranged wife passed on back home.I continued my romance with my new found love cause life must go on.Now after being in the US for about 8 months i got married to my USC wife that's four months after my wife passed on.I already have my Ex-wife's death certificate.Now i want to adjust my status after being here for 8 months.Will this in any way affect my change of status considering how spontaneous everything is going?If it wont what are my to do next

You should be able to apply for AOS. I see no evident show stopper.
