Administrative Processing or Administrative Review

Hi everybody,
I had my immigrant visa interview on the 5th of December,2012 at US Embassy Dhaka,Bangladesh. I am in F2A catgory. Everything was fine in the interview. But after the interview the visa officer gave me a Blue sheet and cross marked 221(g) section. He also put a seal on the sheet that My application is under administrative review and they will contact me as soon they get the result.They kept my passport as well.

I have read different thread about AP(administrative processing). My question is does it make any difference the AP and Administrative Review? And is there any chance that review will be little quicker(less than three months) as they kept my passport??

Can anybody please ans those questions? Thanks in advance.

Both refer to a thorough background check of the applicant. No one can speculate how long your wait will be.
