KCC taking too much time processing the forms???

Hi friends,
I hope everyone is fine and doing well. The courier service has confirmed the delivery of my forms on 14th june. I just called KCC, but the operator told me that my case number doesn't show on her computer screen. It has been more than 5 weeks now, I think they should have processed the forms. Don't you think so? I am a bit worried at the moment!

you are not the only one my friend, on athor forum people have the same issue and it's due to the volume they are facing of applicants!
wait one week and then send them an email or just call them again and then it will be all good

Thanks for your soothing comment, dear! I am worried because based on my case number, which is fairly low 4***, I am expecting my interview in october. I fear that if KCC takes alot of time processing my case, I will miss october or maybe november as well? What does KCC do if an applicant's case number is current, but his/her forms have not been processed yet. Do they interview such a person?

Mine took 5-6 weeks to be processed... wait one week more and give them a call.

I suggest you send an email to the director of KCC telling him that KCC is taking too much time processing the forms...

I'm not even sure that KCC is really DOS employees. I know that people who answer the phone and email are actually from a private call center.

Someone I know got an e-mail from KCC on 13/07/2012 with a link that has his confirmation number DV2012 and he won. So hidden winners exist after all. Please he needs to know how to start as he deliberately chose Seychelles instead of Nigeria to gain advantage as Seychelles do not play much. That paid off. Should he get KCC the DSP and DS forms and hunt for his Seychelles' Passport and Birth Cert.?
 
When I called them last month, I was told they are receiving over 1,000 applications a day so they might be a bit inundated and it will take a while to process the daily deluge of paperwork. They may not have a lot of staff and it's a government bureaucracy so it will be slow moving. If two-thirds of selectees send in their forms, that's about 70,000 applications and with 1,000 arriving every business day the deluge will go on til end of August at least.

I was told that I should wait at least 5 weeks to call them about my question. So maybe some have to wait a little longer, like 6 or 7 weeks if KCC get an especially large delivery at that time and get behind. Give them a break.

DV2013. I got selected but before I sent in my forms I had a question so I rang them. They told me to send in my forms and ask the question at least 5 weeks after delivery due to the sheer volume they were having to deal with. The lady on the phone actually sounded exhausted! I've still got another 2 weeks to go, which I will wait out as I don't see any point bothering them before. They're busy. Very busy.

People who answer the phone and emails are just employees of a call center run by a private company.

Hi Mr. Dawood,

on 30th July, 2012 I called KCC for confirmation of my forms arrival which was delivered to KCC on 22 June, 2012. They told me they have reached to forms delivered on 15th of June, I think it is time for your to send back another email.

DV2012 deadline is fast approaching

hi everyone - sent my forms about 2weeks ago. KCC has confirmed they have it and they say they are currently scheduling visa numbers for my region for September on the bulletin. Dont really get what that means. How long does it take them to issue interview dates and should i be worried since september 30 which is the deadline for 2012 is approaching
