GC holder trying to get parents to US

Hi,

I've come across many posts that USC applying GC for parents but I haven't seen any posts lately that GC holder trying to sponsor GC for parents.
Please can some one tell me roughly how long is the waiting period. My parents are currently not in US.

I think I found the answer. I can't sponsor my parents until I become a USC right. Let me know if the answer is different. Thanks

The reason you have not seen this topic is that there is no such visa category. Only a USC can sponsor his/her parents for immigrant visas.
