Original certificate of naturalziation for CP parent?

The NVC website says that for a parent CP processing the original birth certificate (I'm assuming the same applies to certificate of naturalization) must be sent along with the applicant's documents.

I'm very worried about sending my original certificate since the NVC forwards all paperwork after reviewing to the consulate and it may be easily lost or damaged. Has anyone had any experience with this and how did you deal? Is it possible to send a copy? I already sent a copy when the I-130 was approved.

Thanks

Did this actually get requested or are you making up things to worry about?

it's in the list of requested documents so how could I be making it up?

I looked at that link and did not find any request for an original naturalization certificate, nor even a copy.

In fact, it only asked for an original or certified copy of b/c and m/c.
