I apologize in advance if it's not the right forum to ask this question. I am a US Green Card holder, but still an Indian citizen. Now my company wants me to visit a client in Canada for two weeks. Do I need to apply for a Canadian Work visa? Or is my GC enough for the trip?

Yes, you can visit Canada as a business visitor without a separate visa (just with your GC) as long as you are not going to be working and getting paid in Canada.

Thanks for the response. I'll definitely NOT get paid anything in Canada as I'll be still employed with my US company. They'll also pay for my trip. It's just like an assignment. But I do need to visit the client's place and attend various meetings etc. Now is that considered work? I think so. Right? I'll like to make it clear that I am not going as a tourist, but on a business trip.

It is business, not work. Work is when you are have an employer-employee relationship with the Canadian company (legally employed in Canada and get paid in Canadian currency).
