Please advise is a case number 2012AF00022xxx high or low case number compared to Egypt

you know what: i think you should not be worrying about the case number at all. There are ppl who didnt win. Of course you have a chance!
 
For Egypt It's expected to do interview on March or April.
Don't worry it is not a high case number.
I have one of my friends has a case number around this 22XXX
 
If visa numbers will repeat the pattern of last three years then the answer is yes, your number will be current in May or so. However, as history shows us results of past years can be unreliable. Look on VB for years 2006-2007, they are different from other years. And this year there is a lot uncertainty in how the numbers will move, because of two month delay in the notification process. So I think it is too early to make any conclusions, we need to wait until January or so.
 
I have been selected for DV-2014, out of 25,000 case number is AS19XX

Dears,
I have been selected for DV-2014, out of 125,000 case number is AS19XXX, i have sent the forms of DS230, DS122 along with 2 Photos to KCC, but I didn't receive any confirmation email at the beginning that i was selected, I just remembered to checkout the selection website.

I have two questions:

1- After i sent my documents i have no idea, what is the procedure on how shall o receive my 2nd Notification letter? will it be through email or PO Mail address i have types inside the Forms?

2- I have seen some of the guys in this forum asking about the (Affidavits of support), but i actually didn't find this requirement mentioned anywhere in Abu Dhabi Embassy or any? any one can please help confirm what or whether something is required like this?
