Bieng selected in erro is not a right

We are all aware of the priviledge and opportunity the DOS is offering millions of people across the world through this programme, lets not allow the few that feels being selected in error is a right, destroy their own interest and most importantly the general interest of millions of people across the world. Some of this few are already living in America and they don't care if this programme is closed down because of all this unnecessary petitions that are being propagated.
 
I don't think is right to say 22000 have already been selected because not everybody on this list got the chance to check their status. The few that are against the redraw are not up to 10% of the 22,000 that were selected through this faulty system. The question is; what wil be the faith of those who were selected but did not get the opportunity to check their status? I can prove that over 70% of those among the 22,000 selected did not get the chance to check, so should the DOS keep this number just because of the few who where desperate to check their status during the first few days of release?
 
Personally, whatever the USA decides in this matter, I fully respect it. If they chose to go with the 22k winners, redraw, create another lottery system and so forth, it is their decision.

Whatever it is, I am grateful that this Green Card Lottery exist and have helped many people achieve their goal to stay in the USA. And that the hard work they have gone through to put this entire thing together. Sure, they messed up. But nobody is perfect.

And I agree, I wouldn't be surprise if they decide to cancel DV 2012 altogether. That would be their best solution, everyone is a loser, no winners. They will probably cancel it entirely since there's no way to stop the 22k people or millions of people protesting about the matter.
 
They can do it alright ergo we will be all losers. It is a LOTTERY so please guys stop even if it hurts.:S

KCC and the US are so generous to give people this chance. They are not angels so are exposed to errors just like us. They should be praised for admittin their errors and deciding to fix it. Thats so noble of them. Give them a chance. If the once who were told as winners are meant to be winners, they will be selected again. It's lottery and if its theirs, they will get it. Period.
 
They want to give opportunity to people from other countries. Lottery is purely based on luck, it's hard to predict who will win.
 
I wonder what all the people who won and now start petitions would have done, when KCC would have said due to a glitch all results are voided and there will be NO redraw,DV 2012 is over.Everybody should be glad that they are actually doing a redraw.The US owes us nothing!

nothing would change the 22000 would still start the petions or continue with it. for us nothing changes... even if the lottery gets cancelled.
 
Hey facebook and petition faggots, there is nothing you can do, NOTHING.
I know its quite a shock but we warned you so shove it up your ***, go on with your life and hope for an honest win in the redraw.
I want to see informative threads on this board from now on not a bunch of whining losers (fake winners).

It will be disappointing for people who got selected but unforuntely everything turns in wrong way.....All the best!!
 
I'm just hoping to win.
I do feel sorry for the people who were selected to later find out the drawing was canceled.
 
As in all countries there are times that are better than others. It is your choice to not respond to winning and make way for another that wants to take a chance. Many times it is out of the bad times that riches are made.

I think most people will feel the same...but that doesn't mean they deserve to move further while others didn't receive one due to an error...both sides are victims.
