How long is my wait going to be for an approved conditional permanent resident status?

Hi,
I'm on an H1-B with an approved I-140 and pending I-485, and a priority date of May 2004. Got married to a USC in March 2011. We are planning to file the I-130 petition with a letter requesting for conversion of adjustment under a family based category, per Section 23.2 of the AFM.
What will be my priority date? Will my 2004 priority date transfer to the family based category? How long do I have before I have an approved conditional permanent resident status?
Inputs would be greatly appreciated.

The newly filed I-130 will be considered as an "immediately available" visa, priority date becomes irrelevant and it simply flows through the regular processing based on workloads and backlogs along with all the other IR cases. They will likely just match the I-130 to the A-file that already has an I-485 in it and get it ready for interview (provided that the fingerprint and name check results are already current).

Check the I-485 processing time at your local USCIS office.

IR = immediate relative of a USC.

Thanks for your response. I mailed my application today with all the other required documents. Wish us luck! :)
