Hi Guys ...

I am in the process of filing I-130 for my wife and I am not sure how to answer some of the questions on the G-325A and I-130 forms. Can you please help me?

G-325A Questions (Wife's version):

1) Some of the field's space provided on the form is not enough to put the whole name or information in. Shall I include a separate page with the correct information?
2)Regarding (Applicant last address outside the United States of more than 1 year). Would the answer would be the same as her current address where she lives at overseas?
3)Employer Address: Do we need to include the full address or would the city and country would be enough?
4)Which box I need to check for :This form is submitted in connection with? Would I check Other or Status as Permanent Residence? She is overseas and will go for her interview at the embassy.

G-325A My version:

1) Regarding (Applicant last address outside the United States of more than 1 year). I have not lived anywhere overseas since 1991. Can I leave that blank?

I-130 Question:
Question # 21 on the form. List the address we both lived at as married couple. Since we have not lived together yet. I got married overseas 10 days ago and got back to the US 3 days after that. Shall I leave that blank? We only got the marriage certificate and all the paper work overseas done, we have not been married married yet. The actual wedding is in July of next year.

Thanks a lot for your help :-)

If you need to add pages, make sure you include the right number of copies.

Her address, current is fine. (Probably still living with parents?)

Employer's address: city/state/country is enough. (She will be leaving anyway.)

She wants to be a permanent resident. (You are other---petitioner.)

Say "see attached" and include a letter of explanation about situation.

I-130, be honest.

If you are legally married, the I-130 is correct. If not legally married yet, the form is I-129F for a fiance. Your post is peculiar. Did you have some kind of religious ceremony and will do a legal ceremony later?

Thank you BigJoe. Legally we are married. The way things work overthere (Jordan), you get legally married and then you decide later on actual wedding date. Do you think I should just put her parent's address for the few days or just leave it blank?
