Hi:
I have remarried 16 days after of my divorce. I'm 7 years on bona fide married with my current wife and we have a true family. She is citizen and I have gotten my GC, now I want to apply for naturalization process (N400). I would like to get some input/advice about the time between divorce and remarriage:
1) Are there any time restriccions' between my divorce and my second and current marriage?
Please help me out.... Any input, advices and comments will be very appreciated.
Thank you very much.

Is your current wife seeking a status from you? If not then there is no issue, you can remarry the next day of your divorce.
Applying for you Nat'z has nothing to do with the timing of getting divorced and getting remarried as long as you have the GC for at least the last five years or more.

Thanks for your response. My wife is US Citizen from birth. She is not seeking status.
I really appreciate your time and advice.i

Did you get the GC thru your first marriage?

Yes, I did. I have gotten my CGC and LPR throught marriage with my current wife, also we filled the I130, I751 and we went to the interview before to have my GC.
Thank for your help, time and response.

Your current wife is your second wife, and you got no immigration benefit from your first wife.... is that all correct?

If you have had your Green card for more than 5 years, the fact that you married your current wife soon after divorce should not be an issue. IMO

My second wife is my current wife.
I did not get any benefits of my first wife (ex-wife)
I had gotten my employment authorization and GC throught marriage with my current wife (per sanjoseaug20 wife #2)

I do not want to re-open this thread and without taking too much of your time and patience, just one last question: Would I apply to the citicenship or not?

Thanks again

No benefits from wife#1.
So no constraints in when you could re-marry.
You can file n-400 3 years after marriage to USC and 2 years 9 months and a couple of days after getting your permanent GC.
