District Office Norfolk VA FP is scheduled in Alexandria ??

Per my zipcode, my district office is Norfolk, VA. However, I have recd. FP notice today and it has been scheduled at Alexandria office. Where will the interview be scheduled? Any body has experienced this before?

Interviews are held at DO, whereas FP are held at ASC.

Go there and explain how stupid it will be for you drive hundreds of miles to DC areas to do FP whereas the nearest ASC is about a 1/3 of a mile from you. I am sure someone with brain will see the stupidity of asking you to engage in this unreasonable act. Ask to speak to the ASC supervisor is someone with cow dung in his/her head instead of human brain want to give you a run-around.

The OP never said the ASC is 1/3 of a mile away from him. In fact,there may not be much of a difference in distance between DO and ASC from OP's residence depending on his zip code.

It is approximately 187 miles from Norfolk VA to Alexandria VA. I am sure USCIS can do better.

I noted where I missed his point.

The OP never said he lived near Norfolk either. For all we know the OP lives in Tappahanock , VA which is serviced by Alexandria, VA ASC (97 miles away) and Norfolk VA DO (94 miles away).
 
OP lives in Central VA. Equidistant from both Norfolk and Alexandria. Different directions though :) Where will be my interview though? Will it decide my processing times? That's what I am concerned more about.
