question

Ok, so I posted a thread like a month ago about my situation but didnt really get any answers. I just filed my naturalization application. However, in May i got in an argument with one of my former female friends and she decided to file a false police report that I've been agressive etc etc...The police investigated and found that she is really lying so I never got charged and the detective wrote a letter for me to give to the USCIS explaining that I was never charged and that the girl falsified information in her police report. So is this going to cause me any problems during my naturalization process??? Please help. THANK YOU!

If you never charged , I think that letter is more than enough. if your case every reached a court you have to get letter from that court, other than this no worries.

Did you get arrested for anything?

I got detained but they released me like an hour after since they got my side of the story and didnt find anything criminal about me. They never booked me in jail nor fingerprinted me, just handcuffed me. So I have no arrest record but I was still detained so I disclosed that in my application.

Oh, and also, I heard that in some cases they say that they need more time to look at your application after the interview in order to approve your application. In my case, do you guys think I will get my citizenship right away or are they going to need more time to review it?

So you were detained but not arrested. The letter should be enough in my opinion. You can not predict if they will approve on the spot. If you send the letter along with N400, they would have had the chance to look over it and probability of instant approval will be high. However, if you produce letter during the interview, it depends on the officers. They might want a supervisor to take a look before approval.

Since you already filed, I presume you will show this letter during interview. Do not be surprised, but I think it is nothing to be worried about ... except some delay here and there.

You were never convicted of a crime, so you it wouldn't go against your GMC. You must disclose on application the detention and charge (but not restraining order as that is civil issue). As for the mall/notebook incident, you were never detained or arrested for it so you wouldn't need to disclose it. Just because someone files a police report against you doesn't mean you need to disclose it, unless of course it actually leads to an arrest, detention or charge.

Definitely dump that woman.

The OP doesn't want to dump the benefits of warm thighs...lol!!! After someone creates a false police situation, why would you get back to being friends with them? I also question your morals, why would you agree to take the laptop as opposed to going to the mall security and giving it back, why was it in your home in the first place? Unless you want to have serious problems with USCIS, continue to hang with this person, she is going to give you a gift of a life-time, prison and detention. Next time she is going to call you to her home, give you some sex, call the cops and say that you sexually assaulted her...since your semen will be somewhere in her or plastic, you are going to do time in a cell somewhere, upon release, deported and banned permanently in the US.

The nonprofit organization that filed my documents actually decided to also file the dismissal of the temporary protection order that this girl got against me. They said that even though it is civil it helps to show the officer that really this girl is a liar since she didn't even come to the protection order hearing and argue her case. Good idea??
That's looking way too far into it and the details around the detention. The fact that you were never convicted in the first place is sufficient for GMC determination.
