I am asking this for a friend. His greecard expires Jan. next year and he'll be sending in his packet to lift conditions on Nov. He would like to go to India in Dec for 2 weeks. Wondering if he could do it? Would he be let in after he has already sent his packet to USCIS?
Can leave country on conditional residence?

Yes, he can travel for 2 weeks in December. Whether he has submitted his I-751 by that time will not be an issue.
