U.S. Citizen marrying Canadian Citizen

Hello.

I am a U.S. Citizen marrying a Canadian citizen. We are currently engaged and looking to live in the United States. My fiance currently resides in Canada, while I reside in US. We would like to get married in court soon. Since my fiance is still employed in Canada we would like to start the filing process, but want the ability for him to go back and forth between Canada and the US until a US work permit has been issued.

After marriage, what process do we need to follow and what forms do we need to fill to enable my fiance to travel back and forth from the US to Canada while the filing process is ongoing.

Consider going the K-3 route. That would require you both to get married before starting the immigration process.
