Hi guys,just wondering how much funds would a sponsor need for a family of four?

Would spouse, issued DV2, be considered as sponsored alien, if the principal applicant (DV1) did not use affidavit of support?
Only perminent residence or US citizens can be the sponsor....or do you mean can you spouse be sponsored if you aren't sponsored?
The main person has to proof the funding, etc...but if your wife has enough funding or a job, etc...that should help you as well.

In our applications, I wrote myself as the petitioner for my spouse.
I mean after landing and receiving our cards. Is my spouse, issued DV2, considered as "sponsored alien"?
Sponsored aliens may have some limitations, in terms of opening bank accounts and other benefits.
BTW, there seem to be new poverty guidelines for 2010. However, the numbers look similar.
