I received my greencard through marriage. It was issued Aug 2007. I am still married. (We have been married since 2004)

I went on vacation outside of the US 3 separate times.

Nov 2007 for 2 weeks
Mar 2008 for 3 weeks
Oct 2009 for 3 weeks

When is the earliest date I can apply for naturalization given my case?

Thanks for the help/info.

When did you get married? You can apply upto 90 days before your 3 year green card anniversary, as long as you have been married for 3 FULL years.

August 2007 + 3 years - 90 days. Pretty soon I would say.

However, do not file on the 90th day (as shown in calculation), give it an extra week.

Your level of vacation does not impact any calculations.

Just to make sure you have to have been married to a US citizen for FULL 3 YEARS. That means that person has to have been a citizen during those 3 years of marriage. For example if you got married in 2004 but your spouse became a citizen on January 2008 then you would count 3 years from January 2008, not from 2004. I hope the example is useful to some people.

PS: As you got your GC through marriage I would assume that your spouse was already a citizen well before you got your GC and most likely you can apply as on your 3 year GC anniversary minus 85 days to be on the safe side.

If you meet all other requirements(GMC, residence for last 3 months, Selective service...) besides already mentioned you can apply on June 2010 to be on a safe side. Count everything very carefully and twice.
