My wife got a letter from INS that she will get re-scheduled, but I never got any such notice.
Since we had the same date for the original ceremony, I wonder what happened.
Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Could be that your letter got lost in mail. If you don't here anything from USCIS after 4 weeks of original scheduled interview, go for an Infopass to inquire about your case.

Thanks, but it was the oath ceremony, not the interview. These ceremonies happen only once a month in DC.
What would you recommend? Thanks again.

If convinient, make an infopass appointment. If it is indeed rescheduled, they can even print a oath letter at
infopass appointment

If you and your wife have been scheduled for oath on same day and if your wife got the letter for cancellation, than it's confirm that there will be no oath on that day. So you will have to call first of all to customer service, and try to get in touch with IMMIGRATION OFFICER. First explain CSR about your story and ask him/her to transfer your call to an immigration officer.

If that doesn't work, get an info pass ASAP. I am sure, your letter must have been misplaced or will be on it's way +/- days here and there. But don't wait act.

Thanks, excellent advice. I managed to bypass "level 1" customer service and reached "level 2", i.e. an immigration officer who gave me all the information. Thanks again!
