Original Court Dispositions

Hi all: we have our citizenship interview in a month's time and recieved the interview document check list yesterday. It says to bring original court dipositions for any offenses. My husband had received a few speeding tickets in the past- one in Minneapolis, MN and another one in Bethany, MO.

How do we go about obtaining the dispositions? Can you please help with any links to websites and/or contact #s for these two places where we can call and request original court dispositions?

We did not know of this requirement to carry original court dispositions and given that we have only a month to obtain them, we are a little tensed right now.

Would sincerely appreciate your help.

Thanks

K

Contact the court where he received the speeding tickets from. Most of the time USCIS doesn't request court dispositions for speeding tickets so it may not even be asked for at his interview.

Thanks Bobsmyth, appreciate your response.

Actually that's the problem, we don't remember the court name where he got the ticket :(, just know the place and that has many courts.

I wouldn't worry about it since they are minor tickets under $500 and documentation is not requried per instructions.

its not a matter to worry much about, but if it should make you feel better, you can get an abstract of the offender's driving records from the DMV, and that would have the information about the violation, the court name, county, the conviction, the fne and the points. using that you can contact the court clerk and request disposition papers, for me i faxed the need to the clerk and they sent it to me in a week's time :)
