No, ginnu was providing you the state department's reference on marriage certificates for marriages under Hindu act. There's no need for you to obtain one for naturalization purposes.

In my case (spouse lives in India, never visited US) how should I answer below questions

1) If you have a dependent spouse or chidren who do not live with you
send evidence of your financial suppport ?

Should I worry about this or is it applicable to who had divorce in US?


2) Part 8: Marital history

Is it ok to leave SS# blank, as my spouse never visited US and doesn't have Social security Number

3) Should Parking tickets be included under citations?

4) I have one Traffic ticket for unsafe driving- where I paid $539.00 (including court fees) after pleaing gulity in court. Actal Traffic fine is only $256 remaining is court fee and other charges.

Along with N400 application should I send the copy of payment receipt?

5) How can I get proof that no Muncipal tax is due?

She's not dependent on you, nor do you have any children so it doesn't apply to you.

A parking ticket is not considered to be a citation, so no need to disclose it.

You don't need to provide proof that you don't have any taxes due since you are already attesting to that (under sworn statement) on N-400.
