hi guys,
i want to apply for work prtmit (EAD) I DONT KNOW where i can find the application and which application i should fill up ?
and how long it usually take to get the work permit ?

The application is I-765. You can find the form on uscis.gov
assylum applicants can apply for work permit under the following categories:
(c)(8)(i) for pending asylum application that has pending for 150 days without initial decsion (IO has not made a decsion yet)
(c)(8)(ii) for asylum application that has been recommended for approval (applicant can apply right away after receiving a recommended approval letter. Applicant doesn't have to wait for 150 days)
Most people get it within 1-3 months and some people wait for more than 3 months to get a work permit. (God only knows how long it takes)

guys i am lost , i kept reading the details . they confused me , now i have the application i dont know which documents i should send with the form , i have pending asylum with IJ for almost 2 years so more than 150 days , my questions do i need to take 2 photos? what the other documents i need to send ? do i need to pay fees ? and where to sned it ? they confused me i see that many places to send and i dont wanna make any mistake .
The instructions are so clear, you send the application according to the state that you live... this is why there were so many places that confused you
