Yellow letter for both but NO IL for spouse !!!!!!!!!!1

Got Yellow letter asking DL for both myself and wife. IL letter for me. Wondering why I didn't get IL for my wife. anybody in similar situation ??. Application was sent in same package and FP, emails, status change all were at the same time.
Not sure if they mailed the Interview notice separately. Anyone in similar situation ??


08/24/2009: N-400 application sent to lockbox
09/19/2009: FP Done
10/24/2009: Online status updated. Sent for standard interview.
10/26/2009: Yellow letter for both. IL for
 
ILs aren't necessarily sent out at the same time eventhough you may have had FP at same time and similar status updates. Give it another week and then speak with an IO if you don't hear anything by then.

When it comes to N-400, each application is independent of other application, even if they are mailed together. Each will have it's own timeline. That's normal. BTW, which DO you come under?

I'm suspecting USPS. I will wait for a fee days before I call.

The applications were mailed in same package, FP emails came the same exact time, Same day FP and same day 'Standard interview emails' and yellow letters. Just the ID notice didn't show up for my wife.

Also whats going on in Chicago DO. You don't have ID for July filing ??. I thought Newark DO was slowest.

Most of Chicago DO applicants have ID set already and I am one of those few unlucky folks who is still waiting for IL. When I spoke to an IO on 10/22/09, she said that they requested my A# file on Oct 4th and still waiting. So, I am not expecting IL atleast for another week.

My gf and her sister's online status changed to send for RFE (Finger prints) at the same time. However my gf's sister got her FP notice (in mail) 2 days after my gf got her FP notice. Their FP is on the same date/time.
 
Lemme wait for few days. The strange thing is, we both got yellow letter yesterday.
No notice in mail today either.

I applied on 1st October. USCIS got my application on 5th and sent a receipt immediately. My checks were cashed on 9th and I got receipt notice for me and my wife on 12th October. Then on 19th My wife's case showed RFE online and she got her fingerprint notice on 23rd October. However, my case status has not been updated yet. It is October 28 today and I don't understand why my case should take more time than my wife? Anybody in the same boat or any idea why this could be happening?

Is it possible for my status to not change but still get a finger printing notice? Has that happened to anybody? Or is the system very accurate these days?
