Help filling out the application form

Hi,

I had a few questions and I was hoping someone can advise.

1. When filling trips outside the united states. I was away for 4 months and made a few smaller trips from there, do I need to list them separately or do I mark my departure from the US and return and list all countries visited as one item?

2. I traveled numerous times to Canada for short week or less visits.... I don't recall all dates and they are not listed in my passport, anyone have any ideas what to do? if I miss 1 or 2 because I simply don't remember is that risky?

3. I'm married for 4 years have a GC for 3 years, do I start counting the trips from when I received the GC or from application time? does the same apply for my recent work, only from when I got the GC? (3 yrs ago and not 5yrs like the application form states?)

4. I'm currently overseas and would like to get my passport photos taken here. no one in this part of the world is familiar with US requirements. will telling them the size of the picture be enough or is it risky ( I believe I read it's 2X2?)

The reason I want them here so that I can send the packet prior to arriving back to the US to save sometime.

List them separately by date.

List by month/year if you don't know exact dates.

List all trips are since becoming LPR. Work history is last 3 years (statutory period) in your case.

Any photo studio should be able to follow the standards. You can always take another pair in US and present the to interview just in case.

I think the OP is referring to a trip where multiple countries were visited between a single departure from the US and a single arrival back in the US. In such a case, it should be listed as one line, with the various countries squeezed into the relevant space on the same line, and just one departure date and one arrival date (i.e. departure/arrival from the US, without any dates of departure/arrival for each foreign country).

That's correct... so I do list them as one? (if it was all during one departure from the US?)

My bad, List them as one if it was part of trip outside US but multiple countries visited.
ex: 1/4/09- 2/4/09 Spain, Greece, Italy

You don't have to break it down into how many days you spent in each country since they are all part of your time outside US.
