After sending documents to KCC...

Hello,

My case number is 2010EU00026XXX I was wondering, after I sent all the initial docs after receiving the first NL back to KCC - should I get anything back from them before the second NL, I sent the docs at the end of July and did get a mail receipt that my envelope got there but does KCC send any receipts? Is it case number dependant, since my number isn't all that low? If there is an error do they return the application right away?

Thanks for any info!

You can call KCC and they will ask you to verify you personal data and they can give you an update. Are you going to do CP? If so, they will send the papers over to your countries CP office. If you will do AOS, than you have to pay the fee and send in the form.

I'm doing CP. But my question is, do they send anything like a receipt telling me that they have my docs, that they continue processing my case and it's without errors, or something like that, or perhaps from the CP office of my country? Do you have the number of the department at KCC that handles verifications, etc'?

Thanks!

No, they won't...your postal receipt and tracking is proof they received it, but as I stated before, you are allowed (and most people do it) to call KCC and they will verify they received the papers and have them processed or are working on them.

Thanks a bunch for the info. Do you happen know the particular phone number I should call?
