June filer @ VSC, question regarding PCC?

am a beneficiary of a I-129F petition filed by my US Citizen Fiancee which is to be adjudicated next month at Vermont Service Center . Hopefully If petition is approved I have few questions in the K1 visa process at US consulate in Chennai?

1. Can I Plan ahead of time( like 1 -2 months) to Apply for Police Clearence Certifcate(PCC) here in India. or Will I be needing the PCC which is only few days old at the time of interview?

2. Once an Approved I-129F petition reaches US consulate, How soon can a beneficiary of the petition request for an interview slot. Is it possible to get Interview slot within a week after I receive packet3?

1. you cannot plan ahead to get a police clearance certificate, because the embassy has to give you a letter to the police clearance office.

The interview date will be given, depending on the number of cases being attended to at that particular time.
