A friend of mine in California has an difficult situation and would appreciate some help. My friend became a citizen. Now she is sponsoring her father for a green card. He father is >65 and is in the US and has received a fingerprint notice. Unfortunately, her father had a stroke before the fingerprint was taken
and has since been in the hospital, paralyzed for now. There is no possibility of going to the fingerprint center in the foreseeable future.
There are a lot of questions in time like this. We would appreciate if you can shed some light on the following.
Is there any possibility to get the fingerprint done while he is in the hospital?
What are the potential obstacles to get a green card from here?
Any suggestions on how to deal with financial issues associated with this situation?
Thanks a lot.
