Previous marriages in the US

I'm an overstayer and am getting married to a USC. However I was married twice to USCs in 2004 (divorced; abandoned by husband) and in 2005 (divorced; irreconcilable differences) however never filed paperwork with USCIS as marriages never lasted long enough. I put those experiences down to being unlucky in love.

However my question is do I declare these previous marriages when filing my AOS paperwork with USCIS? Will they think it is odd that I've married twice before?

Please help as I'm not sure what to do and don't want to have anything that will negatively impact my GC application.

Yes, as a matter of fact you have to bring your divorce decrees during the interview in the future.

Thanks

I have both divorce decrees from the 2 marriages but know that the previous marriages were entered into in good faith by myself so was worried how it could be viewed:o

So if you have supporting documents in your divorce and your current marriage is bona fide then you have nothing to worry about. Just be honest then you'll be fine :) best of luck!

As said you have to bring the original divorce docs to the interview. Frankly, I wouldn't worry much because even though you got married you never applied for AoS or other benefits. Life is tough, so you never know how the marriage will go.

You should worry least about how they might view your earlier marriages. Its worse to get caught misrepresenting facts.

If you re not sure, I always advise to get an experienced lawyer......Most of the time, you only have one shot with immigration, do not take a chance. Yes, it cost to get a lawyer but immigration benefits are priceless. good luck.
