Hi,
A general question. I have already filed my I-130 (CR1) and am in the process of filing my I-129F (K3).
My question is this. The processing times for both the visas are about 5 months so if both my application get approved at the same time then can I discard the K3 filing and follow the CR1 route.
Or am I locked into the K3 route once I file I-129F.
I realize CR1 is a better visa but I want to put a K3 application on file as a backup incase my I-130 takes longer to get approved.
what do you think?
