I need help filling out my N-400. I have just finished completing my angermangement class and not sure if I should wait to file N-400. angermanagement was for an order of protection in civil court my wife had made alegations of physical and mental abuse. Since completing my class I am at my 3 years of marriage with my wife and want to file naturalization. I have read on here that when filling out the N-400 they questions for criminal cases not civil cases. I have never been arrested or fingerprinted. this is the only incident I have on my record beside speeding tickets. Question 19 ask for alternate sentcing/counseling. I have called the Immigration center 1(877)372-0776 for help with answering my application and was told yes by them that I had to write yes for this question for anger management classes.
I would love to talk with someone who is in my position as well. and who has filled their N-400

If it is a civil court then I don't think you need to answer Yes to that question. At most you should answer Yes to teh question
"Have you commited an offense for which you were not arrested?"

If its civil court then there is no guilt of an offense being made to start with?

Dont you think either in either civil or criminal cases there is guilty or acquittal outcome, if then how come you would not disclose. part 10 section D does not specify civil or criminal matters, but says crime or offense

Crimes and offenses are handled by criminal courts. Civil courts handle matters such as lawsuits and non-criminal domestic matters. In OP's case, it appears that the anger management classes were ordered by a family court, which happens to be a civil court.
