My mom's passport will expire on 3/15 next year. Her departure day on her I-94 is 9/13.
We plan to extend her stay here to next Feb. But some posts on the Internet seems suggest that she cannot since in next Feb her passport will expire in less than 6 months. Those posts said CIS requires that the departure day cannot be within 6 mothes of passport expiration.
I don't know if the claim is truth. Anyone can help?
