Hi,

I just noticed that in the Form DS-230 part I, I did not fill in
"Including my present marriage, I have been married ....... times."
in section 9.

Because I though I have just got married once and this section is for people who got divorced at least once. Does it make any problem? !

E-mail KCC about the correction that you need to make on the DS-230. Assuming KCC already received your file, they will update it for you.

Call or e-mail KCC and ask them first what would be the best way to make the correction, through e-mail or send a new DS-230. They will tell you what to do.

It should not matter because you can make the changes even at the interview. But, to have a peace in mind, contact KCC.

thanks Gerindo,

Do you think KCC will update the form for me? becuase I should filled in the space with number 1.

Ask KCC. If its a minor adjustment, they usually will correct it for you. If its a major adjustment, they usually will ask you to send a new one.

My friend forgot to fill out Q 4 and she needed to resend the form, which she did and they have received it. I guess you have to mail it just as she needed to do. It shouldn't be a big issue.

Calm down, try to understand that part first and think about what you wrote. If you recently got married and you put 1 there, then you are on the right part. Unless this marriage is your 2nd or 3rd, then you are ok.

It is not a question for people who have been married before and have divorced. Think over the question again.

"Thank you for your inquiry.

The information you provided will be included in your case file."

What Does it mean?

It means they will put a copy of what you sent them in your file. So it means your file will be updated with the information given to them. You don't need to do anything again on this issue.
