visa for spouse of a green card holder

Hi!

I recently got married to a GC holder who is not residing in US since 3 years but makes an annual visit for a few days. I wish to visit my cousin in US. He has been there since 2002 and will be sponsoring my trip.
Considering my husband's status, what is the best possible procedure that I need to follow in order to get a visitor's visa?

Thanks.

Sorry to say that, but most probably not. The only way to go for you is visitor visa, but most probably you'll be denied because of your marriage.

Your spouse has most likely lost his/her GC status by now. You will need to apply for a B-2 visit using form DS-156.

He should officially surrender his GC and apply for a tourist visa. Then his having a GC would no longer be an obstacle for you to obtain your own visa to visit.
