Hi all,

[I have edited in the information provided by Creagan and others thanks guys]

I like to have things organized well in advance as it is a 6 hour drive to Phoenix. I just read where Phx_Dude had to be at the Oath Ceremony venue for an 8:30am start. For that I am going to have to drive down the day before and stay in a motel. My fingerprints are scheduled for 10:00am which means a very early start. I do not want to reschedule and build in delays.

Can someone tell me or point me at a website that has the relevant addresses and what parking is available near them? So far I have these

USCIS Phoenix Office
2035 North Central Avenue
Phoenix, AZ 85004.
Parking next to building $5

Fingerprints
USCIS Phoenix
2545 East Thomas Road
Phoenix 85016
Free parking at rear of building
Go in off 25th street

Oath ceremony
Sandra Day O’Connor U.S. Courthouse
401 W. Washington Street
Suite 130, SPC 1
Phoenix, AZ 85003-2118
MOST ceremonies are held in SPC Courtroom 200, 2nd Floor
See here for dates and ALTERNATE venues...

No public parking available at the courthouse. There is limited street parking (meter) available across from the courthouse. Private parking lots and garages are available for hourly/daily rates within walking distance of the courthouse. Please note that Washington is a one-way street heading West and 4th Avenue begins a one-way street at Washington heading South.

Thanks to all.

WhichWay2Go, I know what you mean. I live in Maricopa, work in Phoenix and they made me do my FP in Tucson. Why? Because it's closer, ya right

Anyways, my Interview was at: 2035 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004. They have parking $5, but sometimes they close it and make you park a couple of streets away. The fee is about the same.

The Oath was at: 401 W. Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ 85003-2118. There seems to be a lot of parking available. I parked in the building parking area (expensive). But I heard that there are other parking areas, I was too focused on the oath to pay attention to parking areas

Have you thought about coming in town the night before, to make sure you don't get stuck in unexpected traffic?

6 hr drive to Phoenix? Did you move or are staying outisde of Arizona?

Hi Bob,

You obviously don't know about the wilds of Northern AZ. <grin> I have almost 2-hours of dirt roads before I-40, then an hour to Flag then 3 South. You lucky city slickers. :)

There are basically only two roads that run South. I-17 and SR-87 unless you wanted to go via Globe and add another 2 hours for the beautiful Salt River Canyon.

Thanks for the link I had already seen that but it didn't give info on parking costs.

<grin> I would be too. What's 20-bucks compared to becoming a Citizen.

For the Oath I will have to come down the day before, otherwise I would be leaving at about 2:00am so I will get a motel for that. Hopefully the interview will not be too early and I can make that the same day. Fingers crossed on the times.

Thanks for the addresses. Much appreciated. I will check them out this week when down for the fingerprints.

Good luck on your fingerprints. I just recently did a camping trip in Monument Valley. Lovely place -but what a drive-especially as I was towing.

But the towing saved me-I returned during the Memorial day weekend, so I must have seen at least 5 highway patrol vehicles on i40. If I was driving a car, I think I would have been pulled over and got a ticket just before my interview.Just surprised it actually rained there and Sedona.

FP should be ok. I don't know about your ASC, I just did a walk-in early and several others did a walk-in, in other ASC-some let you do that. But you are so close to the day, might as well go there on your day. If you end up going early same day, they will let you in-especially same day-I went almost a week or two early...

Thanks for the good wishes TNW.

Yup a lot of people are surprised that it snows here. Flagstaff town is at 7,000ft and has a ski resort higher up on the mountain. Not just the desert people think Arizona is all about. :)

Yup, I-40 and I-17 are both well patrolled. Glad you were towing and keeping to the limit.

FP - You can come do earlier then your appointment.

So if you decide to come in one of the wednesdays before your actual appointment, you can even do it at noon or later rather than spend on a motel.
Parking is in the same parking lot and there is no fees.

For your interview - you will need to come at the correct time, and hence no way out of staying one day earlier.

For Oath - all depends on when you are scheduled. If you are scheduled for the afternoon ceremony, it might work out for you.
