This is my situation..i recently received a notice from Uscis that they denied my i-140 case based on the fact that my lawyer who filed for me failed to submit the Union letter from my employer because she claims that she was "pressed for time" back then

.my lawyer already has the union letter in hand and she says we just need to appeal it to USCIS .( i think she filed a i-290b?) Do you think that's the best and only option? She also says that if my case is already appealed, then they wont deny my i-485 and i can renew my work permit still..

.my I-485 is still on pending status at this time and im currently on EAD (work permit) which will expire this Sept 10,2009
my question is..is that my only option?do u think the uscis will eventually approve it when we submit the letter? can i still renew my work permit with my denied i-140?

i do hope someone can shed me some light into this matter..i have totally lost confidence in my lawyer because of her negligence...im really anxious on how this matter can be resolved...pls help!!!!

what is this union letter. I am not aware that my lawyer had submitted one?? Please let me know more on this please.

first do appeal process, so that you have to time to think...

Later on just change your attorney... no point... in continuing...
