I am a US citizen. My parents got green card with my sponsorship.
How long we have to wait to apply for citzenship for my parents ?
Is it 3 year or 5 years, I heared for family base green card holders it is 3 years wait. Is it true ? Any information is appreciated.

It is 3 years if the spouse (not "family" as you put it) is a US Citizen. The wait time is 5 years if this is not the case. You can apply 90 days prior to meeting this requirement.
