I think you should be OK but hiring a immigration attorney will be good idea in your case. Good luck!

These are just traffic tickets, not immigration tickets. If you open up a traffic offense manual, there can be 1000s of ways you can get a traffic ticket. You are not expected to know all these, the day 1 you start driving. Some people learn the law after they get ticketed and some after 10. No one can gaurantee of not getting a ticket once you start driving on the roads.

I think You should be fine, as long as you paid fines and these tickets don't translate into CMITs. The whole idea of issuing traffic tickets judicially I think is to make you cautious of driving on the roads when everybody else is sharing the same road, not to somehow extrapolate that onto immigration.

How long ago did the tickets take place? These type of minor tickets usually do not preclude an applicant from demonstrating good moral character.

I got my first ticket back in

2004 was vending with no license "plea guilty, paid fine 210 $"

2005 I had littering ticket "dissmised, officer didn't show in court"

2006 veding ticket " plead guilty , paid fine 285$"

then I started driving taxi in fall 2006

tickets as follow

July 2007 improper Public Veichle Licence Display "dismissed"

Nov 2007 improper trip sheet "dissmised, officer didn't show in court"

Feb 2008 expired Public Veichle Licence "dissmised, officer didn't show in court"

Feb 2008 improper trip sheet "dissmised, officer didn't show in court"

Feb 2008 taxi cab violation "dissmised, officer didn't show in court"

Aug 2008 improper trip sheet "dissmised, officer didn't show in court"

Aug 2008 taxi cab violation "dissmised, officer didn't show in court"

What? Firstly, what do you mean by an "immigration ticket". Secondly, you are absolutely expected to know the traffic laws as soon as you get behind the wheel of a vehicle. Being allowed to drive is a privilege, not a right, and implicit in being granted that privilege is knowledge of the rules. Ignorance has never been a defence in law.

Considering that 8 of the tickets were dismissed, you should be fine. Just bring evidence that the 2 tickets you pleaded guilty to were paid.

this realy gave me a release
I was so stressed
I already ordered a certified copy for all these tickets to take to interview,
thanks

Once you hire a attorney, you can insists them to come for interview

a lot of people said to me that I don't need one, and the attorney might just make the immigration officer that interviews you hostile,
is this correct ?
please advice?

One small question, I am not trieng to tense you more.

I see all these are traffic tickets and you mentioned they were misdemeanors. why?

Were you cited or arrested for these tickets. Probably I am not aware if you can get misdemeanors without a arrest.

dms1,

you can be pulled over for literally anything (even for a minute suspicion of improper driving), though you are at most caution behind the wheel. You could pass the dmv test with just 90% score, even if you didn't know the other 10% traffic laws and get previleged to drive on the roads. Now having previlege to drive doesn't implicitly void you from getting ticketed. What I meant is exactly the same thing, getting traffic tickets never implicitly effects the benefit of Immigration unless there is CMIT.

by the word Immigration Tickets, I meant to say, traffic tickets are just Traffic tickets and there is a mechanism already to deal with it like courts/fines,.In other words almost every citizen gets a traffic ticket in this country.

The purpose of Immigration & Naturalizatio is far more noble than debating over minor traffic tickets to void the very purpose.

If you get a ticked with same reason in a year it may cause of denial of your application. I am not a lawyer or legal adviser but read this somewhere before and just want to share with you.

With that logic, if you get ticketed for speeding twice in a year it may cause denial, but if you get ticketed for speeding and illegal passing in a year you're fine.

A source that is not referenced is questionable at best.

The severity of traffic tickets is defined by the amount fine you pay, It is clearly mentioned in the instructions, you don't even need to mention it on the N-400 if the fine is less than $ 500.

Correct. And I would like to correct my self. If you received traffic ticket 3 times with same reason in a year (over $500) your application can be denied with no good moral reason.

Immigrant7777 comments are ridiculous. Do you know you could two tickets at one instance of pull over? 1) One for headlight and One for tail light with the similar law section code and description.
