okay here is my story
i got my temp gc through marriage in june, 04
as right before i about to apply to remove conditions on my gc, i was arrested for dui(no injury, no accident). I was told by my friend that i didn't need to disclose this on my i-751 application till i went to court and proven guilty (which now i know i should have no matter what the court dicision was, the fact is i was arrested). I was approved and received my perm greencard.

So now im about to finish my 3 year probation( classes completed, aa meetings attended, fines were paid) next month, i want to apply for citizenship.. YES i will definitely disclose my dui in the application this time, my concern is will they find out that i didn't disclose about my dui on my i-751? i think i am in big trouble, really scared...

i have been reading people here been approved with dui, and first offense dui shouldn't be a problem.. but my case is different

also need a good attorney in LA area, any good referral

any advice will be appreciated..thanks

Use http://www.aila.org to find a lawyer.

Your A-file will have your I-751 in it. Since the entire A-file is reviewed as part of the N-400 adjudication process, there is a high probability that the adjudicator will notice the discrepancy between the I-751 and N-400.

I recomend you hire a lawyer and discuss possible outcomes,, if they notice you lied consequences could be bad.

Maybe even consult with more than one lawyer to get different opinions.

good luck

Your arrest will most probably show up. You need 100% to hire a criminal immigration lawyer. :)
