Lost I-94 card but L1-B, I-797 all valid

Need some advice please...

I am a Canadian citizen living and working in California
I entered the USA and was issued a I-94 stapled into my passport
I removed my I-94 to get my passport renewed 8 months ago
I currently have a new and valid passport and my expired passport
I have lost my I-94 card
I want to travel to Canada for 3 days and need to know if I can re-enter the USA without this I-94 card in my new passport

Appreciate your help...

Really appreciate your quick answer. I found a scanned copy of the I-94 from my old passport and have all the other paperwork too... with your answer I think I should be just fine...

Any idea if I will have to pay for another one? The guy at CBP told me I would have to pay the $320 charge again but another agent said no as I am Canadian.
