Hi all..

Is some one in Arkansas waiting for oath .. I am in Arkansas, I hope we get it soon..:confused:
 
You previously indicated that you had interview over 1 year ago and still haven't received oath letter. It may very well be that your oath letter was lost in the mail.

Do this:

Call USCIS at 1-800-375-5283, choose option 1-2-3, tell the agent it's been more than 30 days since you applied and haven't received receipt (don't tell them anything else, including you had interview). The agent will transfer your call to an IO. Tell the IO you haven't received oath letter. The IO will be able to tell if an oath has been scheduled for you. Alternatively, schedule an Infopass appointment to get the same info.

Btw, have you been physically present in the US after your interview?
 
yes, i know by info pass they have approved my case for Oath ceremony but also said that Oath for Arkansa residents will be in May.... There are 2 an oath ceremony in Nashville Tn n memphis TN on 23 april. I dont know how it works? Have they distributed certain areas for certain Oath cermonies... ? Even May 8 seem so far from now.. I wish they could schedule me earlier than May 8 . I am so tired of waiting after i passed my Interview in Feb last year+ I am away from my Husband .. ...No i did not travel outside.. They said they needed more time to "STUDY" my case since i ws in Medical School Outside United States and applied for Naturalization after 10 years....
 
Make sure to follow up with them on a regular basis to make sure they schedule you for oath. You can even schedule Infopass at closest DO to see if they can schedule you for an oath instead.
Did you request name change by chance?
 
No i did not , They just wanted more documents in last august which i had provided, they said they needed time to study my case... Thats all they said n then a long wait.....I really appreciate your replies!
 
When is the last time you have followed up? Schedule an Infopass and request to speak with a supervisor and remind them it's been more than 120 days since your interview and that you are ready to file lawsuit. Your case is going on way too long and they should have scheduled you for oath by now.
 
i have a qs though.. Is it possible they can schedule me for oath ceremony in nashville Tn or Memphis TN? In nashville there will be 2 oath ceremonies on 26 n 27 of this month. The IO said to my dad the One for Arkansas is on may 8(Thats also in memphis) she might get that one... I thought they could schedule me to nashville or Memphis TN ..I did not know they do oath cermonies with area like this time they will schedule oath for people in certain location... Do u think lawyer can help me with this.? could they do exception with me like schedule me in earliest possible oath ceremony which is this month In Nashville TN? (I know its funny though) but it gives me headaches !
 
I plan to apply in Arkansas this march. I had hard this 2 oaths a year thing earlier from someone as well. This is so unfair though.

They may be able to accommodate you. Just schedule an Infopass or mail your request into them.You have nothing to loose by asking.
