My birth certificate for I-130

I will sponsor my parents for GC. I noticed that in I-130 I have to submit a copy of my birth certificate. Can anyone confirm that a copy will do? I think USCIS took my original birth certificate.
 
Yep!! Never send originals......just send copies of documents. If an interview is called, then that is when you will bring original documents to back up the copies you sent.
