Two applications - two fedex packages; But only one Check cashed and One receip came:)

My wife and I sent our applications in Fedex (two different packages) same day. Surprisingly, one check is cashed and only one receipt came! Fedex delivered them as multiple documents (1 of 2 and 2 of 2 like) with one signature from the Tx office mail room.

Would it be lost/ignored? Would it help calling Texas office?

How did USCIS know these two fedex package coem from a couple
and designame as 1 of 2 and 2 of 2? I can not assume only two fedex arrive at that moment considering hundreds of thousands may apply for citizenship
each year and there are bound to be far more than 2 packages arrving at the same moment.

Are you sure your PD and ND are same?
 
WBH - I verified signatures for the fedex. I have two tracking numbers for two packages. In teh signature verification fedex stated that one as master packeg (1/2) and the second along with it. Acceptance for the both is done by one signature.

RANGAV - Yes i checked on my Receipt; i too was surprised that priority date and notice date as same (actually same day as the application received).
 
PD and NOAD can be the if they print out NOA on same day application was opened and processed. It's hopefully also a sign of efficiency.
 
Just checked my bank and found that my second check too is cashed today. So while in most cases it took a week - in my case one of the check took 2 weeks:)
