I've passed the interview on September 12, 2008, and since then i did scheduled twice InfoPass appointments and each time they told me to wait. Last time when i went to the West Palm Beach field location center was on January 26 2009.
Does anyone have any idea how long would take to wait to receive the invitation letter for oath ceremony through the name change process at WPB location?
Past already 4 months in my case :(

Did you tell them the 120 day limit has passed already on your last visit?

I wasn't aware about 120 time frame limit. What can be done in situation like this? To wait more?
On my last InfoPass appointment they couldn't give me any date.
Answer: "We get 50 people at the time (first come first server basis) and you are not on the list"
Question: Can i get any approximate time for oath ceremony?
Answer: We don't know ...:(

I would request to speak with supervisor since the 120 day timeframe has passed. I have a feeling that the federal court may be dragging its feet on providing enough space for USICS (there was a note about this in Ombudsman's report).
Also, you can contact USCIS ombudsman to get involved with your case.

The report does not say how widespread it is and does not indicate in which state it happened. However, the court refused to schedule additional oath ceremonies. The USCIS knew they were going to have much more applicants due for oath.
So here is my question: Why did the USCIS not schedule bigger ceremonies and use alternate locations if the court house was not large enough??

I had the interview on September 16th and just received the oath letter for February 13th.

Did you request also the name to have it change through the process for citizenship?
Around what date did you get the letter for oath ceremony?
In the invitation letter did they say that the oath ceremony would be through the WPB court district?

Yes, I requested name change. I have received the oath letter yesterday. The ceremony will be held in the court (Clematis street).

Thank you for your help.
I'm hopping that i will get it also this day's to since they mention the (first come first served basis) when i went Monday 01/26/09.
We should be in the same group for the same day. (50 people)

I also have passed the interview on Dec 3, 2008, and since then I did scheduled twice InfoPass appointments and each time they told me: "Pending Supervisor Approval". Last time when I went to the Tampa field location was on January7 2009. I have requested for a name change thru my citizenship process. But I think the "Spervisor Approval" is one step before name change process.

In my next INFOPASS appointment:

Q1: Can I requested for an inquiry?
Q2 Can I request to speak to the supervisor?

Thanks,
M

Anybody knows what is the parking situation around the Paul G. Rogers Court House on Clematis Str. 701 ? Parking lot for visitors ?

You can find only paid parking locations where you can pay ONLY with cash.

Sad...:( i still didn't got any invitation letter from them :(

I really don't understand how it works since i went 5 days earlier and you got it i didn't...
I will schedule another InfoPass appointment for next Monday to see what is going on. But this time i will ask for supervisor. It's gearing out of control now the hole situation, especially that they surpass that 120 days time frame.

Ask them if the final approval has been granted. I believe that 120 days deadline applies only to the final approval/denial of your case and once the decision has been made you can wait forever ...

I got the letter Friday for February 27 2009... WOW... old saying "Better later the never...!"... but still... takes a long freaking time.. almost 5 and a half months from the interview day. Definitely i wouldn't toke this path if i would knew that will going to take so much time.

After all I'm happy.... in three weeks i will become officially American citizen. What a day that will be... oh mama...:D
