H1-B transfer - how soon?

1)I am working on H1-B in US with employer 'A'. I have been offered a new job by employer 'B' Employer 'B' is ready to my H1-B transfer but is not ready to do a premium processing. So if a normal processing of H1-B transfer is done, and I join my new job as soon as the Fedex receipt is obtained from uscis, what will happen if my employer 'A' cancels my h1-b before my new h1b transfer is approved by uscis?

2)Also is it safer to wait until h1b transfer WAC receipt number is obtained? Does it make a difference. I want to join my new employer asap.

3)How long does it take to get the WAC receipt number?

4)I am currently employed and have latest paystubs. What are the chances that uscis will raise a query for h1b transfer?

--------------------------- if the H1 transfer petition reach USCIS Before A writes to Cancel your H1 then no problem. dont depend on Fedex receipt I prefer to join once I get reciept from USCIS.

---------------------------YES, I read 1-2 cases where lawyer never sent petition on time to USCIS and person joined new employer and faced problem.

Does it make a difference. I want to join my new employer asap.

3)How long does it take to get the WAC receipt number?
--------------------Check for particular service center. I think one should get in 10-12 days from the date USCIS got the petition
