I recd the oath letter today for Oct 2.

One question for the document to carry for the oath:

For me all the following check-boxes except (other) is checked out:

You must bring the following with you:
This letter, WITH ALL THE QUESTIONS ON PAGE 2 ANSWERED. TYPE OR PRINT ANSWERS IN BLACK INK.
Permanent Resident Card.
Reentry Permit or Refugee Travel Document.
Any Immigration documents you may have.
If the naturalization application is on behalf of your child (children), bring your child (children).
Other.

I don't have anything besides the oath letter and PR card.
Please advise what else need to be carried for the oath?

Also how much time in advance we need to be present there?

Thank you.

Your post is too general. It depends on where your oath is, and we don't know where your oath will be. What is your DO ? Anyway, be there at least before 30 minutes. Depending on where your oath will be, you may spend 1 hour looking for parking spot.

Show up 30 minutes before oath to give you sufficient time to get signed in.All you need for oath is GC, completed oath letter and driver's license.

Oath Ceremony

Thanks for the quick responses. My oath is scheduled in Detroit District Court.

Any idea what are the following documents for: (Both these docs been checked in my oath letter)

Reentry Permit or Refugee Travel Document.
Any Immigration documents you may have.

Also - application for voter registration, SSN card changes and application for passport can be completed right after the oath in the same place?

Thank You.

The dates

Here are the milestones in my N-400 journey:

Int: 9/17/08 N-652 recd with Passed/Approved

The oath letters are generic (mine has same check marks for reentry permit and immigration documents) ..only documents that pertain to your circumstance are required.

Representatives from SSN office, post office (for passport) and voter registration are usually on hand after oath to assist you with your needs.

So, that being said...no other docs needs to bring? I have my Oath on 10/08. So, you guys are suggesting bring, GC, Letter, DL...that is it? What about extra photos? By the way, during Interview, when I signed photo, I signed as I would in checks. Is that a problem? I think I read some where something about this in forum. In addition, where can I find a link that has something like..."Things to do after you become USC". Thanks to you all.

For the oath itself only GC and DL are required (plus any other immigration documents you may have for recent travel)
Passport photos can be brought to oath for passport application. Don't worry about how you signed photos at interview.
