GC > Divorced > Travel Outside US?

I've got my Cond. GC... Divorced... Haven't filed I-751 yet... Going on vacation outside of the US for a week.

On return to the US, can I just flash my GC at immigration, or will they ask "where's your wife?"... and have me explain that we're divorced and I've yet to file I-751?
 
They usually do not ask "where is the wife"... if I was you, i'd have filed I-751 a while ago... you need to anyways... you have had 2 months already, what are you waiting?
 
hey P, it's just taken time to gather up all the evidence... waiting for 1 more affidavit that out of all the affidavit's I've got, is probably the most important one. Other than that it's pretty much good to go.
 
Well, I did the vacation anyway. Coming back into US was easy enough. Just got asked how many days I was in County XXX, passport stamped, and that was it. Simple.
