how do we know if 140 revoked after approval

- You will get a soft LUD. However, a soft LUD can mean a few other things as well.
- Status message will remain as approved. There wont be any change to that.

I am following the forum from a long time now. but I dont know, what is LUD, Mean. can anybody explain. sorry davidmaria, I am asking different question, while you have started the thread for your own issue.

Last updated date after you create an account from the USCIS web page, hopefully you know how to create one. If not just go to the page where you see your case status and on the left hand you will find the link to do that with email addresss.

Hi All,

I've applied for EAD renewal 2 weeks back. I'd noticed that there was a LUD (soft LUD...no status changed) on my approved I-140. Is it something usual (or) not?. Please let me know. I've joined another company using EAD at the same time when i'd applied for EAD renewal.

How many days it's taking now to approve EAD (renewal) @TSC ?.

Getting a so-called "soft LUD" on a case in your USCIS profile after it has been approved is not uncommon, and in the vast majority of cases is completely inconsequential. Not partially inconsequential, but completely.

You mean it's okay (or) not okay ?. My PD (Apr'06) will be current from Aug 01, 2008 (since EB2 moved to June 01, 06). Please clarify.

Soft LUD can mean a bunch of things and its too difficult to predict. In my case it was a revocation. In a lot of cases, it may just be a system update.

If I-140 got revoked then there should be LUD on I-485 too right ?.

Yes, a HARD LUD on 485 stating denied (No AC21 letter in my case). I have seen similar cases with AC21 letter and they still got denied. Strange are the ways of USCIS..
